karnali you should be birched for using the "w" word, let's have a summer first please!Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

good point!
I don't know what the bike storage facilites were you work are like but the word commuter would make me lean towards the ribble - which is a decent bit of kit
A) it looks less desirebale so not as much of a target for thieves.
bikes in communal bike sheds always end up scratched, do you want this to happen to your nice flashy kenesis frame?Cycling - The pastime of spending large sums of money you don't really have on something you don't really need.0 -
Can't beat the Ribble for price. It's nothing special but it's good value.
Sizing is way out on their website though so check them out for real if possible. Also I find mudguard clearance on the Alpina fork is really tight with SKS full length guards. For some reason the front brake caliper seems to foul the mudguard slightly on the front with Campag but not Shimano (that I remember)0 -

It sure is, the sizing (entering my inside leg) on their website said I should get a 52cm, but I got a 50cm and it's still got a massive top tube (55cm) for my 5"8' but a really tiny head tube.0
