I wanna buy a new bike to commute to work and I've always fancied a fixie without brakes - do you reckon this will mess up my mountain bike form, or mean I crash when I go offroad cos I'm so used to a fixed hub?

No, but unless I'm mistaken you need a front brake if you want the bike to be legal - always best for your bike to be legal just in case you end up haggling with a motorists insurance company."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0
