hi been living in burnley a couple of years and wonderd where i should be heading out on my new merlin malt? only been sticking to towpaths lately to get used to the new wheels so any ideas wouldnt go a miss

If you fancy a run out any time in the evening I can show you some good short but reasonably challenging routes on the South East of the town, typically 6 or 8 miles but will get your heart rate up and give you chance to brush up your skills!0

There is, it's absolutely riddled with them. I can string several routes together in the Calderdale/South Pennines area, all about 25 to 30 miles and 95% off road.0

Yeah my wife was involved with a proiect to map the network of pack horse trails about 15 years ago( yikes). there was tons round the Calderdale valley, Rochdale, Bacup and Burnley area. Shame I dont live closer or I'd tag along with you and Matt.
