what bike to buy ???

Any help appreciated. Ive got a £1000 to spend, and want a bike that is versatile for road, off road fun. Thought about a GT Zaskar Expert, a BH Carbon Fluid A85k both hardtail. Also like the Cannondale prophet 3 and Mongoose Canaan Comp both full suspension. Any advice help appreciated.

Bit of a differnce in the full sussers and hardtails you mention - the latter weighin in considerably less than the full sussers so a much better prospect on the road.

What would you be riding most, and what is the off road terrain like? What do you ride now?
