can you (for want of a better phrase) 'pimp out' DMR v8 pedals with the pimp my pedals kit?

Or.... now here's a crazy idea, use the money to buy better pedals!

No point mate - After just 1 ride the paint wears off. You could spend ages screwing the little things in, but the paint will come straight off, no point - From experience too.

Gusset Incas for £20, and just about any Wellgo pedal around that price.

Oh, and yes the paint finish on DMR's isn't particularly strong, best to opt for the silver ones from word go or you'll end up with silver + whatever colour pedals you had before, which looks rubbish.

I just don't see the point in pimping a set of rubbish pedals.

Fair enough, and good choice on colour. Had a set of red ones, and within a week they were more silver than red! Not happy, specially as they were the more expensive V12's.

You'll find every time you lie the bike down on concrete or similar surface, it will wear the paint off, so it's a bit pointless, you may as well just stick with the stock cover tbh.

    Some better options than V8s:

The bodies on V8s are far too small and the grip level isn't very high.

You'll have to get V12's then. Then end cap of the V8's is plastic, and has no thread.
