How do you wear unpadded tights?...

... padded shorts over the top?

... on their own (ouch!)?

... or something else?

Just saw some in the bargain bin at my LBS and it got me wondering :-)

    Also.

    If they aren't designed for cycling, expect them to wear out. Given that cycling longs are a scandalous rip off, it is an economic option even so.

    Thought of leg warmers?

    Definitely with padded shorts underneath.

    If you're wearing padded shorts, you don't want a second chamois in the tights as well, would be like wearing a nappy.

    You wash the shorts after every ride, the tights when they're dirty...

    Yep - padded shorts underneath.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
