I have a hand built hewitt audax bike - steel - columbus - with guards - more relaxed fit. a lovely bike well fitted by Paul - would be buying the Look from him too (with fitting).

I've got a 2006 Look 555 (the girly pink one) and it's my favourite bike to ride by a long way. It's really comfortable for my longer rides, which admittedly don't go much over 40miles nowadays, but I can't gush enough about this bike. My husband always says that I look more comfortable on this than anything else.
Mine was fitted out at Hewitt's too, and I found him to be really helpful. He didn't mind how fussy I was about riding position and then did his best to match finishing kit to the bike, without taking the mick for me trying to go as pink as possible.
    I'd say 'go for it'!
I have a triple and I'm not afraid to use it.

heatonrider, from the various odds and ends i've read about Look over the years they strike me as a quality manufacturer who know what they're doing, i'd certainly consider one if ever i had the money.
The reviews on roadbikereview and by RiRi would be enough for me to want a test ride, head to Hewitt's and take it from there.
Let us know how you get on, hope you get sorted.

All things considered am going for the Look 555 so thanks for the help. Will be upgrading the wheels slightly (Paul Hewitt's) advice and getting the ace fit that he offers everytime. Looking forward to some summer riding! :D

I bought the look and it is just GREAT! Smooth ride and nice and stiff. Climbs well and secure on the decents. Could not be happier - well perhaps if the weather was more like summer riding weather ... looking forward to some time in france later in the summer. Anyone who is thinking carbon - just do it

    Hi.

Also just built up a Look 555. Only done a few hundred miles so far but am very impressed. Very comfortable & seems responsive. Its first real test will be the Wessex 100 in September..can't wait.

    Cheers

i bought a look kg461 `06 model about 2 months ago.look don`t make them anymore as they are a very progressive company, always improving their range like most top end manufacturers.i got bike as a complete package specced with sram rival gruppo ,mavic aksiums and carbon fsa stem and bars. i paid £1400 with £850 off the rrp.
there are a few upgrades i want to do but as it is it still rides like a dream.perfect for long weekend rides or a short 10 mile burst to work.
if all carbon bikes ride this well or better then i`d have to agree and say get a carbon l
    look.
i`d like to get some look clothing but am struggling to find any stockists, any ideas ?
