Hi,

Does anyone use these? and are they any good?

I'm thinking more of extensions that you hold onto, rather than full tribar extensions with elbow cups.

Any recomendations?

thanks

A couple of people I have ridden with use stumpy tri bars with arm rests and they appear nearly as good as full extension bars like I ride, they cannot get quite as flat but pretty good and certainly better than the hoods or drops.
If you don't have arm rests they won't offer you a particularly aero position (I don't think you will be able to hold a low enough position for any length of time) but may off a comfortable position if that's what you're after.

Cinelli Spinaccis were popular before the UCI in its wisdom decided to ban them for road racing - you'll probably find a pair on ebay. Without arm pads, it's difficult to pull on the bars and drive your pedal stroke, but at least allows you to hold a more aero postion.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Spinacis are still available on line from shops. I'm using a pair for a hilly triathlon.
