hi i'm 6 foot 2 and i'm just getting into mountain biking i have been doing it for about a year and a quarter i have a 07 trek 4300 21 in frame. i have size 16 shoes (us) and yes i've heard all the jokes so i don't need any.... now because i'm still growing i'm not sure if i need a custom shoe or some 52 (eu) thats wide. heres what i have tried on that doesn't fit.

mx190/ mx170 (wide) both in a 50 lake and they don't fit.

heres what i'm thinking of trying out.

SIDI 2006/7 Dominator 5 Men's Lorica MTB Shoes

any suggestions on what i need, or what i need to get customized shoes, now i know i can talk to lake about getting a custom shoe but i want your opinions here please.

thanks
6' 3" and size 17 shoes(us) only 16 and i ride a trek 4300 07 (got it on 2-7-07) and i have 470 mile on it. with countless scars.

  • so seeing that i won't be doing much riding over the summer, any one have any ideas about custom shoes from any brand that last a while?

Bah i was just about to post that the SIDI Dominator 5's go up to 52, but you already knew that.

Also, if you have flatties, you could try some Merrels which can go up to a size 15. www.walktall.co.uk
