What is out of true?

Hi All, I've been running a pair of Mavik Aksium wheels on my bike and lately the rear wheel has to started to go out of true. One section of it has become a little squashed towards the hub by about a millimeter compared to the rest of the wheel, and the rim oscillates back and fore by a couple of millimeters over a rotation. I doesn't affect the ride, and since it's the rear I don't have the pads set particularly close so there's no brake rub, but I was wondering if this is sufficiently serious to warrent taking to my LBS, or should I not worry yet until it starts affecting my ride or making worrying noises?

I'd take it to a reliable LBS and get it trued. It shouldn't cost much and will give you peace of mind.

SJ is right. Get it fixed. And before it gets worse, which it most likely will.
