I had the same thought myself, as I'm doing the Vatternrundan shortly. I've bought one of the small tubs of Torq, which is sealed, and I'll probably leave it there. Paranoia, eh ...

We just put stuff in our suitcase, and we've had guests bringing powder with them without having any trouble, just wouldn't advise putting it in your hand luggage!

I have just been to Majorca and carried a bidon almost full of Torq powder in my hand luggage. They 'looked' at it flying out but nobody looked at it at all coming home. I was a bit worried they might think it was drugs but that wasn't the case.

It seems to me that different Airports have different standards and requirements so I play safe by not carrying any liquids or powders in the hand luggage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming back from France after the Marmotte one of our party had sachets of white powder in his bum bag and was stopped , moved to one side and the sniffer dogs were called !

I put two drinks bottles full of Viper in my suitcase going to Majorca three weeks ago but the jobsworth at the Ryanair check in told me my case was 0.5 of a kilo over weight! Amazingly, they said nothing to the guy in front who must have weighed 20 stones by the way! It was either pay £30 extra or transfer some stuff into my hand luggage and the easiest-weightiest thing to emerge was the powder so I thought I'd chance it. They noticed it straight away and were suspicious about it maybe being liquid but I poured some out into my hand and eat it telling the security guy what iit was. His only comment was, "I could do with some of that myself and waved me through.

I also think people get too concerned about airport security anyway and tend to get too wrapped up in it. It's energy powder, a perfectly legal substance and you are doing literally no harm in transporting it any way you like. Just remember, it's not you they're after and you'll be fine!
