Hello
Want to change a 52 chorus chainring for a 53 campag chainring. The chainset is 10 years old. Should any campag chainring fit?

Thanks for any replies.

Campag used to have a BCD of 144mm didn't they? And they are 135mm now. So perhaps a new chainring won't necessarily have the right BCD for your chainset.

Csmpag have been 135 BCD for many years for the road. 144 BCD is still used for the track cranks.

I've got 2 unused 53t campag record road rings (took them off some cranks sets I bought when converting them to a tandem crankset). Let me know if interested.

 at the idea of 10 years ago being old - Campag already had 10 speeds back then!

The latest chainrings for Ultra Torque will not fit square taper chainsets as one of the bolts is offset.

the ones I have spare are from the 2006 chainsets (square taper), so all bolts holes are iequally spaced.

Do you mean the compact cranks? The standard UT Record crank use the same rings as the carbon Record of 2006 and the Record alloy crank of 2005.
I'd rather walk than use Shimano

Yes, I was referring to compacts. I did not realise that standard chainsets retained the old BCD pattern.
