Tesco Saddle Bag

I'll probably look like a horses ar5e for asking this but here goes.
Got the above today for a few quid, problem is, I have no idea how to get the thing on. There is a clip which I'm assuming is supposed to be fitted just under the saddle. This will then let the bag clip on as the bag has the second part of the clip attached to its top, so in theory, it should link up quite nicely but it doesn't appear to fit anywhere on the saddle and the angles look wrong.
Can anyone with this bag give me some advice, or a link as to what I'm doing wrong, or have I just been stupid and bought a totally wrong bag?
Cheers

Is this the saddle bag?

If so, its just a case of bolting the clamp onto the saddle rails the seat tube clamps onto.
It won't work if you have an 'I' beam seat but should be fine otherwise.

The bolts look too long IMHOI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Yeah, way way too long.
Also, you might need to move your saddle back on the rails as if you're finding it won't fit it could be because you are trying where the rails dirverge at the back of the saddle, this would make the clamp seem to narrow for the rails.- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0 -

Yup, that's the one. There doesn't appear to be enough space at the back of the seat for the clamp.0 -
should attach to the parts of the rails that point upwards. will not work with all saddles."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

could it go the other way up?
velcro strap onto seatpost, clamped bit onto the two seatstays. could explain the longer bolts.0
