Hi i have had my derailer adjusted at a shop which has sorted out my gear changing problems but if i start pedalling hard/heave i get a clunk sometimes like the chain slips or something it seems to stay in gear

Does anyone what i mean or what this might be?

i have a specialized rockhopper pro!

Thanks

could be anything. take it back to the shop they should have spotted it.

stiff link, worn cogs, slipping freebody. worn crankset, slose cranks/pedal/chainrings....
