Assos small size

I'm looking at treating myself to a pair of Assos bibs. According to the sizing chart, as a 5'8" feller, i should be going for a medium. However I only have a 36" chest which is the XS size. Now, I guess height is the most important of those 2 factors for a pair of bib shorts but I thought I'd check with you guys. I like things snug, but obviously not too snug. So what you reckon for a slim jim 5'8" man?

Also, most of my rides are under 60 miles, would the Uno's be ok for that kind of distance? I wouldn't normally ask but in the description for a pair higher up the range they mention them being more suitable for longer rides.

I'm 5'8' and have the medium F1 Mille, they are a snug fit length ways when standing but just right when on the bike.

I would suggest that even small would be too tight and XS would be the equivalent of what I believe is known as the "super shreddy" :)

Any Assos will take you across 60 trouble free miles.

Got a couple of pairs of Uno's on (I think) Andyp's recommendation. They're the business. Feel great after 100 miles.

I think you're looking at the recommended jersey sizes. For shorts measure your height which puts you at M.

I'm 6'1" with a 31" waist and the large works great for me.

Same here......but I've got a 42in chest, and a 34in ish waist, and they fit about right, bit tight around my thighs but then If I got a bigger pair they'd be baggy elsewhere.

I'm a similar height and chest size as you and have ordered a pair of medium F1 Mille shorts. Frustratingly though i haven't yet received them despite ordering last Thursday from cyclestore.co.uk

I have an Assos gillet in small and it's a bit small for me but i can get away with it in a gillet. I'm sure small in bibshorts would be too small. If only i had them i could tell you :!:

Anyone used cyclestore before? I doubt i'll be ordering from them again.

Cheers Nick. Didn't see that when I did a search on Assos+sizing.
