I think I'm going for the cycle to work scheme
I'cve got a Road bike and now want to replace my 15 year old MTB!
Narrowed it down to
A Rockhopper Disc http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=34005
A Rockhopper Comp http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=34004
Or
An Orange G3 http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/2008bikes/g3.php
What are your general views?
My LBS sells Specialized, but i can get to an Orange dealer........

Try them out if you can - neither has anything letting them down spec wise, but I think the Rockhoppers offer better value overall.0

Don't forget Orange will let you have a Recon Race on the G3 for an extra £100 which would be a very worthy upgrade!
The Rockhoppers are brilliant and are a good value choice too.
But. Buy the one that's comfiest, fits best and makes you smile most. The best spec in the world is useless unless you can get the most from it!0 -
Been looking today.
Liked the Rockhopper.
Fell in love with the Orange G3!
There is just something about it, I've wanted one of Orange's bikesw for 15 years and it was as good as I'd hoped.
It'll be ordered as soon as the paperwork is sorted. 8)Richard
