I'm looking to upgrade my tyres from the stock Kendas that came on my Giant. I am looking for something that is going to be comfortable for training on but also has the ability to do some light racing on. The roads around here are not good and so puncture protection is a must.

I'm looking at the Vittoria Pave and Specialized Roubaix tyres as they seem like it might be the ultimate mix for all riding.

Does anybody use these? Any other suggestions welcome. My price limit is around the £25

    Rubino Pro's are an adequate training tyre - quite affordable too - if you're interested, check out Ribble or Wiggle.
