Handlebar tape

Hi - can anyone recommend a durable handlebar tape? On long rides I seem to be able to move mine (without intending to) on the top of the bar as it starts to curve round before heading down to the brake levers. I'm guessing the stuff that was on the bike when I bought it (Bontranger branded) and two other types I've tried are just not sticky enough!
Any recommendations? I seem to be forever buying and applying new tape!

    If it's cork type, it sounds like you're not pulling it tight enogh when applying or possibly starting at the wornd end of the bars? Start at the end of the drops and work to the middle.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
