I wouldn't say more power, they seem very similar in that department, the XT has a lot more pad clearance on it's rotor and is much easier to bleed. I've got both at the mo on different bikes, the XT are pretty new so I can't comment on how they'll fair over time. Given the choice I think I'd opt for the XTs, the Juicys are still fantastic though.

Juicy 3 are the budget deore price equivelent, shouldnt you be look at juicy 5/7 against XT price wise?

You can't go wrong with either really, if the Juicys have much of a saving I'd get them. Assuming they're the same price I'd go with the XT, even if you find you need to bleed them (which you often need to do with new brakes) they're much easier to bleed due to having a big reservoir on the top.

I'd probably go for the XT, though I'm basing that on old XT vs Juicy 7s.

The XTs don't have quite the same stopping power, but are better in most other ways (feel, reliability, lack of horrific squeaking, value).

if i had to choose between those two i would choose the XT, the main reason being that my LX brakes have been great for 14 months of riding so far and i would hope that it being the same manufacturer the XT's might even be better.
