Not surprised to see that this is German in origin.

Why do you have a big problem with fans protesting doping in the sport? It is OK to be cynical but I would be interested to hear why you think these fans should not make a protest, or why you think the Germans are wrong to pursue the dopers in the sport.

It's not that any of it's wrong, it's just the way they do it. There is a complete over reaction to the smallest thing which makes me think they really don't know what to do so they're doing anything.

I just wish they'd work within the framework of offical rules rather than making it up as they went along.

Also, being completely cynical I tend to associate "man in the street" protests with dog-on-a-string.

Apparently the German fans no longer wish to be associated with Mr. f72

"Protest to cycle racing fan against Doping! “We do not want to be lain further! For this we will drive 100'000 doping free cycle kilometers!”
'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'

To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee (yes I'm old)

Thats's not a German cycling site; this is a German cycling site: http://www.tourgott.de/

    All bow to Ulle. Tourgott.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.
