It is loose and rattling around insead my carbon headtube - is it just a case of tightening the allen key or is there more too it than that?

Hi, i could write down step for step instructions for you to follow but your best bet is to have a look at a video, its then much clearer, as to what you need to do. If you look on you tube there are plenty of films over this and many more cycle maintainance topics. Good luck Ademort

Hi, it is not difficult. Just loosen the two allen bolts that clamp the stem to the steerer tube and tighten the large allen bolt in the top cap a little (not too much) only until there is no play in the bearings. Then re-tighten the two bolts on the stem, making sure the handlebars are pointing forward correctly.
