what range of options are still available to a doper?

HGH is being tested for, EPO is being tested for, blood transfusions likewise via the passport...my guess is TUEs and tesosterone are all the doper can use?? Or is the blood volume testing still not a guarantee?

Does the passport (aside from the debate about if it actually exists/works) test for both autologus and homologus transfusions?

Aren't all of the above options still available if a doper knows how to avoid being detected? A more pertinent question would be: how many of those tests are watertight? Answer: None?

Simoni said of Andy Schleck after the Giro last year "so much for the new young clean riders".

They can still do it all.

Dynepo can still manage to keep your levels in check, and still get a massive improvement on natural performance. Artificial hemaglobins and PFCs. Dont worry, they are still doing it.

Even on High Road and CSC.

Anyone who could completely and reliably answer the question would not have any time to answer on this forum. They'd be way too occupied "working with" athletes from all around.

f you understand physiology and know what kind of markers the tests look for and what kind of markers each substance leaves and for how long depending on intake regimen, there is a way around. The hole is getting smaller and smaller, but it's still there. And there's sure to be some esoteric stuff coming down the pipeline that neither I nor you have heard about. There always is.

but every week unannounced testing by ACE as well as wada/UCI and in race testing...that's some risk if a rider dopes...it'd need some really special Dr to keep the rider under 24 monitoring to keep them off the radar, no? A rider on his on or with unskilled dr would have risk of being caught...

or maybe, like Contador and Basso you simply need the full support of Pat McQuaid

Who ever trusted anything Simoni said about another rider? In fact, who ever trusted anything Simoni said, period. He's a bitter guy and anyone who ever beat him is suspect if he's to be believed (not him, he just has a sweet tooth for Bolivian treats). We only get the choice pieces translated to English, but my parents live in his native Trentino and the stuff he can say to papers is way out there. A good proportion of people can't wait for his retirement.

My mother knows nothing of cycling but has grasped from the papers that Simoni and Ricco are full of it.
