Try putting grease around your rear dropouts i had the same problem as you, and i took it back to the shop eventually and they found the problem, funny i have just put new wheels on a few weeks ago and when i was out on thursday night it was creaking like mad i came back , greased the drop outs and now it is fine again. Another thing is the seat post clean and grease that regularly as that creaks like buggery as well, hope this helps as i know how annoying it can beBianchi Via Nirone 7 Alu/Carbon, 2011

I recently took my forks, and headset off to give a little clean, because I never tightened one of the bolts to recommended torque it gave an ANNOYING click when riding, and eventually got worse.
It's mental torture when you're riding and your bike is giving off dodgy sounds, especially when you're miles from car/home, but definitely when you spend so much money.spammer0 -

Yeah I have the same problem with my Stumpjumper
Creaks and groans like an old man (Or maybe thats just me!)0 -
yep i had the same problem with my 07 stumpy comp (black and red one).
I can guarantee that the creaks coming from the the bracket that the bottom of the rear shock connects to. Where this bracket connects to the rear seat stays and the seat tube, you wanna take it apart and stick some good grease in there.
Let me know if it fixes it....Ibis Mojo SL-r0 -

I had creaking issues on mine but the dealer sorted it FOC. The obvious things they did included copper greasing the seat post and the pedals but they also checked all the suspension linkages. I thought it was the BB so i had that apart myself but no joy.0

I had a creaky issue from new but it turned out to be loose pedals. Been totally quiet ever since - apart from the time the chain snapped and took out the mech and hanger with it and my man bits hit the stem/top tube. The groaning was me though, not the bike.0

thanks for your reply i managed to get rid of most the creaking by replacing all the bearings in the rear main pivot stay regreased and re torqued ,the bearings were shot after 13 months use cheers for your advice very much appreciated.0

That's not good. Mine's been creaking like mad recently, just bought a new bottom bracket (I know it's worn as it feels gritty when you rotate the pedals without the chain on) and I was hoping that would cure the noise. The main pivot is the only one I haven't stripped and cleaned at any time. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0
