Just got back from a 31 mile ride with my bro-in-law tonight, took just under 2 hours, but really enjoyed it, looking at the computer but not really worrying about the times, enjoying the countryside and pushing ourselves to keep fit, can't ever imagine doing 20 miles in an hour, but hey, who knows! with a long summer, 3 or 4 rides a week, just might get near... watch this space!!!

i seem to remember that in a time trial stage of the Giro, they were doing 13k, about 8 mile, in 40 min ish

so if you can beat that, you can win the Giro

or accept that these times are meaningless
i could beat that on the same course (going down the mountain though)
i hate hills (cos i'm fat)
