How to fold a non-folding tyre

I wanted to know how to fold 'non-folding' tyres but couldn't work out how to do it. I've been given a couple of unused tyres with steel beads which I want to fold so I did a Google and found this video clip of the late Sheldon Brown showing us how...

    Grip the tyre on opposite sides and twist to make it into a figure 8 shape then fold the figure 8 in half. OK to carry it home but I wouldn't leave it like that for any length of time.
