Have I got Neuss for you?
(Sorry!)
I can't recall having seen this before, but the German city of Neuss are taking their anti-doping very seriously in the run-up to the Deutschland Tour:

Apparently Christian Prudhomme is due to visit the city in September to discuss hosting a TdF stage.

How bizarre. I think anti-doping efforts should be carried out anti-doping agencies, not local politicians. The Germans really are obsessed with this aren't they?
Meanwhile, it looks like the Rund um den Henninger Turm is on the verge of going bankrupt before next year's race (following on from the Niedersachsenrundfahrt, 3-Länder Tour and the Peace Race, which have already been cancelled).0 -

Talk about "Closing the Stable Doors after the Horse has Bolted" or is this what they call a German Sense of Humour.
Where were these people 14 years ago when their insignicant telecom company started out by employing a whole lot of East Germans as a "Cycle Race Team" and Built a Billion Euro (Mark), world wide Empire on the back of PED DRUGS
