Hi
does anyone know whether these will work with 10 sp chains ?

Or will I need to change to 10 sp specific jockey wheels ?

Thanks for any info !

Newer Campag 9sp rear derailleurs - like my Mirage one - have a similar inscription to the "C9/C10" found on some chainrings stamped on to the jockey wheels, as they will work happily with both. If in doubt, replace with a decent after-market product like BBB or Tacx, both of which work with 9sp or 10sp Campag formats.

No problem with mine. It's Campag's attempt to get you to buy stuff you don't need.

The toothed part of the jockey wheels are exactly the same for 9 and 10 speed....hence the 'C9/10' marking mentioned above...but the spacers are different. The 10 speed spacers (marked C10) are each 0.2mm thinner than the 9 speed ones (plain) the wider spacers make the internal dimensions of jockey cage 0.4mm wider to help accommodate the slightly wider 9 speed although the bolts are the same length for both 9 and 10 speed.

So to answer your question...you will be able to use 9 speed wheels with a 10 chain....but the other way round is not so good.

But - even tho the rear mech cage is fractionally narrower, 10 speed rear mechs do work with 9 speed cassettes, chains & shifters. The LBS suggested otherwise, but I've never had any problems with this set up.
    Cake makes me happy

Indeed...the geometry is the same for current 9 and 10 speed mechs.
