Easy to fit tyres on Campag rims?

I've never failed to get tyres on my non-campag wheels using my hands, but I do struggle a bit with Campag rims, even with mechanical help.
I've got PR2s on my Neutrons, easy(ish) to fit with my Crank Brothers Speed Lever - but not manageable using hands only.
However I've got 25mm GP4000s on my Ventos, and they are a b!tch to get on even with the speed lever - I actually destroyed the lever getting them on.
So, does anyone have any recommendations for 25mm tyres that go onto Campag without too much undue difficulty?

Although only a training tyre the vittoria rubinos especially the folding ones are an easier fit. They could go on your ventos. I can get these on with hand pressure but am more of a rugby player build than cyclist with big hands. I read on this topic to try and use italian tyres with italian rims. Not sure what the vittoria open corsas are like as not used them.0

yeah, i use vento's with rubino's as a training wheel and they are very easy to mount by hand. the open corsa tyres are a lot harder to mount on my race wheels (vuelta carbon pro's). i would only use my hands to mount tyres and only use levers for removing the tyre.0

I too struggled and was continually nipping tubes levering the last part of the tyre on. I bought a VAR tool which makes the whole job a hell of a lot easier. You push one side in between the tyre and rim on the already fitted side and then hook the other side under the tyre bead and simply pull the tool back across the tyre which pops the other side on. No chance of nipping the tube as the tool does not go under the tyre at any point. It's well worth it!!

Another vote for Var levers. I've got Neutrons and I can get a Pro Race 2 on quite comfortably now!0 -

I have the std rubino's on my Eurus wheels - they were a hand-fit - no probs.0

not tried the folding versions - i'm sure they are fine though.
the slicks are very comfy - the 23mm one seems slightly taller in profile than normal - i'm sure the 25s will be very comfy indeed.
is this for your nero corsa or the winter bike?0 -

For the winter bike, I can get the PR2s off and on the Neutrons pretty easily, but I'm worried that If I get a puncture with the ventos/GP4000s it'll take me ages to sort out (took me enough time to get the tyres on in my flat).
And red tyres doesn't really go with the rest of the bike....0 -
word of warning, rubino's are far from the best tyre in the wet. the slicks arrarently are even worse. i've just spent the winter on rubino pro's and won't be doing it again next year...0
