Grinding problem

I'v got a grinding problem i took my outer chain ring
of and put on a bash ring but on my lower gears the chain just grinds
on it
i'v took of my front mech as well will a chain device help as i still want to
keep 8 gears on the back
( ps the bikes a hard tail )

LOWER GEARS? big cogs or small cogs?

Could be your BB is gone, are you sure the grinding is coming from the chainrings and not the BB?0

The frame is a merlin malt 1
bash ring is a dmr 36t
bottom bracket lenth is 113
as for the cranks dont know so hears a pic
