Just seen that Merlin is doing the Reba SL for 200 notes. For XC, technical singletrack and the odd drop/jump (nothing too big, just a foot or two), those going to work well enough? I currently run a 110mm fork so also wondering whether the 10mm is going to cause problems with the feel of the bike?

They'd work very well, the 10mm will steepen the head angle by half a degree, if the steering is already twitchy you can adjust them to 115mm with a spacer. This should keep it pretty much as it is now.

Travel amount isn't really what you need to measure though, it's the difference between axle to crown on the two forks. Each 20-25mm difference will equate to about a degree of difference in head angle. There's a list of axle to crown measurements of different forks here.

It should be minor though, in my opinion you'll be fine. They're top forks! Bought a set myself from there.

Seems reasonable. Guess my LBS gets to fit some new forks when they do the service :)

What you describe is what I generally do, so you should be fine.

Great forks at a great price!, especially when they "bed in" a bit.

    Enjoy!

I'd second that, the first couple of rides on my Reba Teams they didn't seem to me moving at all, thought I'd set them up all wrong. Last couple of rides they now seem to moving much more freely.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

Same thing with my Race, rather stiff to start with but within a short while they were creamy smooth
I found it hard, its was hard to find, oh well whatever nevermind.
