assos after sales service

Just wanted to share that after a minor 'off' and the resulting hole the size of a fifty pence piece in my £100+ assos tights, assos have returned them, free of charge, within two weeks and looking as good as new. They have taken out a small panel and sewed in a new one so there is no hole, no darning and no obvious patch. You can't tell they were ever damaged at all! They have also replaced a worn assos logo/transfer. I am mightily impressed. I can't imagine any £100+ jeans manufacturers offering the same service!

    Sounds mighty fine service if you ask me - which you didn't!

    T'other sunday I went on the Kirklees Sportif with ColinJ. His winter beerage had him suffering on the climbs. Just for once I felt great on the climbs.. :oops: Which probably made Colin feel even worser than a worse thing.

    2 minute grovels can sometimes be a lot longer..tho' shorter on a lighter bike :-)
