My rear disc pads seems to be having a problem

Ok.
I haven't used my bike for a while. I tried to use it today, pumped up the tyres and the back wheel wont move. The disc pad has seazed totally. I took the wheel off and the pads move normally when applying the brake but the adjuster is stuck solid..
Anyone have any ideas. I suspect the pressure needs to be realesed somehow but I don't know how.

If the pads were seized to the disc, how did you get the wheel off, i'm a little lost at what you mean TBH.0
