Noisy front disk break.

Hi,
my front disk break makes a horrible loud squaking noise when I ride, and also when I spin the front wheel it does not spin freely and it feels like its rubbing against something.I was told to loosen the two nuts on the calipper which are attached to the forks and then pull on the front break and tighten the nuts, as this should centralise the break pads.
I tried this, and no luck :roll:
