I can buy into the concept of a bike like the Pashley-Moulton TSR http://www.tsr.uk.com/bikes/ and its reviews are brilliant. Would it make an everyday commuter/touring bike?

It looks like it'd break in half if my entire 97kg mass landed on it.

My boss uses one for his commute, he's had it for years!.

    Yes.....................................

    and no!

I had an APB12 when they first came out - nippy superb bikes ideal for both uses. The only downside is luggage as they have dedicated racks which are platform and do not take panniers. There is an adaption for the front., bit not the rear.

The rear platform looks able to take a decent bag. I used to go touring with two rear panniers plus a sleeping bag carrier and a handlebar bag.

You'd think with lower wheels, you would get larger front panniers?
