Why *shouldn't* I get another Giant
So I've had my bottom-of-the-range Giant OCR for about 4 years and the only thing wrong with it is that the gears are shot. With the Cycle-to-Work scheme I can afford to spend £750, so the obvious first place to look is the Giant SCR 1.5 or something. After all, I've always found it very comfy for my purposes (lots of climbing in the Dales plus 12mile commute). The only thing I'd change would be to have a compact rather than a triple.
What else should I be looking at? It's very tricky when you've got to buy a named bike through Halfrauds.

Why question it? If you enjoyed your OCR you could get another Giant surely.0

Why not just replace the gears? (that's what the wife would say!). Giant seem to offer good frames and better spec than other makes in the same price ranges, it's just the name that can be sneered at by the cycling snobs, not much prestige, see. If your not a "labels" kinda person, go for a Giant.Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

SDP, great bikes, Giants. They just don't seem to get a lot of "respect", especially on bikiing forums,Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.
