Around a year ago I posted on here about how wifey was insisting that shiney new Cayo Expert should sleep in the garage with Muddy MTB and questioned whether this was grounds for divorce. Most said yes!. Anyway with some counselling we managed to resolve the situation. I craftily purchased a turbo and put Cayo on that in the conservatory. All were happy with the new arrangements (well I was anyway :? ) until I came home from work yesterday to find my carbon beauty covered in washing from the Bank Holiday weekend away

Question: is such abuse of my beloved Cayo grounds for divorce or even murder

You must keep your bike pretty clean for your wife to want to hang clothes on it. I suppose you could take it as a compliment.

I guess it really depends on the washing!
If they were her best undies drapped sexily over the handle bars I don't think you would be considereing either murder or divorce??:lol:

If not........ Then I think it would be far more effective to take the clothes in the garden and create a mud bath........ She would be pissed enough never to hang them there again!!

Thanks! I've now got a mental image of a bike with its drops in a bra.

Grounds for a playful spanking, I'd have thought. It'd get the point across, but in a nice way.

Failing that, I'd have her checked out for witchcraft, there's something definately suspicious about dressing a bike - it's like voodoo or summat.

Check e-bay for a cheap ducking stool.

It would be justifiable homicide - not murder [ look up Liddle Towers for details]

Oh Spen, just one step too far as usual,,,,manslaughter due to diminished responsiblity is the correct answer!

Isn't justifiable homicide only relevant to the US? The only defences to murder are diminished responsibility, provocation and killing in pursuance of suicide pact. even then they are only partial defences in that they reduce the charge to one of manslaughter.

Anyway I think I'll work on the provocation issue.

You had my sympathy right up until I reread it and saw the word conservatory. You are already a weakened man. Think of the cycling goodies the price of that conservatory could have bought! And it's taking up space that could be taken up by a custom built bike store.

Does your helmet hide the thumbprint well?

A conservatory, a bike festooned with clothes *shudder* and a thumbprint on his head? I'm becoming more alarmed by the second!

Google, as they say, is your friend, so, after a brief search, I believe that I've found a photo of Harry B, in pro-fettling gear, with his wife who's also covered in clothes!* Coincidence? I think not!
