Just got back from an early morning 30 miler before work.

Just completed full 30 miles with my bib shorts on INSIDE OUT!!!!!
Glad there are not many folk about in rural leicestershire that time of day .

    No Idea.
Just didn't wake up before dressing I suppose,
I only realised in the last mile or so as I spotted the gripper stuff at the bottom of the legs was showing.

... my bib shorts on INSIDE OUT!!!!!
    LOL
I did that once. But thankfully saw my reflection in the hallway mirror before going out.
They had red padding, which looked like a baboon's behind

Ha ha, nice one. Did my 20 mile commute this morning and I have to say it was a nice start to the day, despite the traffic. Might get some bibs if I ever lose the gut. Sticking with a loose fitting jersey until then, inside out or not.

I have 2 pairs of grey walking boots. The soles are going on 1 pair, but they had better laces. So while watching TV I had 4 grey boots at my feet as I swapped over the laces.
(You know where this is going).

Later on, off I wander to the village, around, and back.

The next day I put my boots back on, only too realise they were both right feet.
The previous day I'd been wandering around with 2 right boots on.
  • I was looking forward to going for an awesome ride before uni - set my alarm for 5am  so I could do a decent distance...

...AND WOKE AT SAID UNGODLY HOUR ONLY TO FIND THAT IT WAS TOO MISTY TO SEE MORE THAN A FEW YARDS IN FRONT OF ME!!

Grr, why are my efforts always thwarted by evil weather?!

That reminds me of another idiot moment last month.
I was staying in my Inlaws caravan in Dorset and set my Alarm for 0530 for a nice ride along the Jurassic coast before the kids woke up.
Pulled back the curtain to be met with thick fog, head down for half an hour try again, thick fog, another half hour thick fog.
Bugger this I will stick my lights on and go anyway, open door no fog, check curtain and realise I was looking through an insect screen..

    DOH!!!!

Had a nice ride to Weymouth in the end though so alls well

P.S Why am I having so many senior moments when I am only 35

I haven't done the inside-out thing, but I once went out with a pair of undercrackers hanging from the rear reflector on the back mudguard.

Luckily I spotted them halfway down the stairs (top floor flat).

Only deliberately, for a tiny bit of extra cooling when on the training rollers and already T shirt-less.
