I have a 4 year old mavic Cosmos wheel and the freehub is knackered. I've been told that a replacement freehub isn't available anymore. Is that right? Otherwise means I have to get a new wheel I suppose.

Guy in my LBS. I think he rang them and thats what they told him. Said it was a 2004 wheel and they didn't supply parts to wheels that old. Seems a bit rubbish to me.
  • that just not cricket, i'd understand if it was a 10 year old wheel or something :( shame on mavic, you could try contacting chickens

Maybe the guy in your LBS wants to sell you a new wheel. I'd ring them myself.

If this turns out to be true then I won't be buying any Mavic wheels in the future.
