It's hardly stopped doping in Italy. BUT it has made the Italian police / investigating magistrates take notice and if there is a complaint or suspicion, they are obliged to investigate. Had Spain had a law in place like this, Operacion Puerto would have had a very different conclusion that the hush,hush cover-up that been implemented.0
