been back on my bike for 5 months now, done my first ride with proper mb shoes before, spesh bg sport. the difference they make is huge, been using asics gel running shoes up to now. so just to say that any newbies out there- get yourselves some proper shoes, stiff soles and all, its a very worthwhile investment!

unless you want to jump, in which case you want shoes that have enough give to let your feet grip the pedals!0

I assume that you have changed to clipless pedals then if your using a specialized BG sport shoe.0

Read your previous posts about these. Do all Vans come with the "waffle?" soles, or is it just particular styles?*Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)

No, not all vans come with the waffle sole. Most seem to have part waffle, part something else.
They really do work though!0 -

I fancied trying a lightweight "trainer" type shoe this summer, read that the "waffle soles" were good.
I just didn't know what the sole looked like?, "sod's law" I'd buy the wrong ones..*Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)
