Don't know about the link but they have featured on this Forum for at least 3 years and I don't recall any reports of bad experiences!d.j.

I have just received my custom made road frame from them and a ti seatpost and all for a ridiculously cheap price.
I couldn't fault them to be honest. The frame arrived within three weeks of me transferring the cash. Due to how impressed I am, I'm considering ordering an mtb frame!
That all said, I am not a frame expert and so, in terms of quality, I cannot comment in relation to other US titanium frames, but I always bought with the view that if I liked this frame, after 12 months, I would trade up for a US frame and use the XACD frame as a winter bike.
Hope this helps.

I have two,a cross bike and winter frame, very happy with both, they were delivered very quickly. No problems with either and I can live with the lack of a guarantee. Remember to check the drawings very carefully particularly if going custom because what they draw is what you get. Mine both got through customs, but budget for the risk that they might not without added VAT and import duty.0

I ordered my titanium frame from them about three weeks ago and recieved it in the post yesterday. I must say that, for the money , I'm mightily impressed with the quality and good service - the guy who deals with orders is called Porter and although his grasp of English is not the best in the World he communicates effectively and always responds to e-mails quickly. I'm having the frame built up with Shimano 105 next week and will post any further comments regarding ride characteristcs etc. as and when.
So far, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending XACD to those of you out there who don't like paying over the odds for titanium (My frame looks exactly like SundayCycles September Model and they want £750 for that whereas I got mine from XACD for £350 including shipping!!!). The frame came well protected with bubble wrap etc. and although its not as 'flash' looking as Enigma, Litespeed et al, I'm sure that it will do its job of getting some winter miles in comfort with ease.let all your saddles be comfy and all your rides less bumpy....0 -
Just out of interest, what's the weight of one of their frames? Say something with a 56/58 top tube.0

I weighed my road compact, oversized tubing 470 seat tube (effective 500mm), 530 top tube, it was 1190g, frame - no forks no seatclamp if that helps.0 -
After riding my bike a while I must say that it rides as good as my Airborne. Its stiff, comfortable and fast. However, if you're considering getting one of these frames please bear in mind that some of the finishing is not up to the standards of other Ti manufacturers. (which you wouldn't expect at less than a third of the cost)
I must stress wholeheartedly that if you order one of these make damn sure that you get one with a band-on front mech NOT a braze-on because the braze-on front mech attatchment on my frame was too high meaning that I couldn't get the front mech any nearer the large chainring than 4-5mm whereas the optimum for crisp shifting is around 1-2mm. (The front mech still shifts from small chainring to large effectively though, but its something to bear in mind). Also, the front mech is further away from the seat tube than is needed meaning that I get chainrub when I'm in the small chainring and largest sprocket.
These downsides are not the end of the world, and I suppose I can hacksaw and file the front mech weld-on off and fit a band-on adaptor instead but I regret that I DIDN'T EMPHASISE these requirements enough with Porter at XACD before I wired them my hard-earned cash!!! :oops:let all your saddles be comfy and all your rides less bumpy....0 -
