Hi All,
Our work has just entered into the bike 2 work schemes, so its a chance to justify a new bike at a bargin £££
As I have my 'all mountain - all day' bike already sorted, I would love some recommendations on a 1000-1300 bike either jump/dirt bike. (I wouldnt rule out a hardtail)
I have seen the Scott Voltage yzo ltd(prefered last years colour scheme),but have seen no reveiws on that range & have also seen the Commencal absolut bikes & devinci.
just wondered if anyone has some recommendations.
thanks all

I have one (voltage), really nice frames, utterly bombproof.
I cannot remember, do you have to buy a complete bikes or can you spec up from parts?
I'd look at 247, transition and NS bikes as I'm pretty sure they'll do something that'd suit you.0 -
Thanks ,you are supposed to buy complete bikes as in theory your employer owns the bike until you have paid for it, otherwise I'd build from scratch.
I quite like the look of the Scott Voltage range, but have only rode the missues Scott(very nice bike)& dont know anyone with a voltage totest ridey or ask & no where local stocks them to tryMy current baby!! Upgraded dawg Deluxe

I'd go round the LBSs and ask if they'd consider doing bike builds on C2W, then get them to build up something really cool, you've got a lot of choice with your budget.
Maybe a cove sanchez with argyles, pro II/pro II trials on EX823, hope brakes and headset, thomson stem and post, decent bars etc0 -
Argyles & hope s are what I had in mind!! Never seen the transaition bikes before, but on my god!!! how nice!! very very temptingMy current baby!! Upgraded dawg Deluxe
