What a difference a week makes. Last week in London the commute was a battle through the rain. Today it was a pleasure in the sun.

Long may it last!

  • Absolute PB time to office this morning :-)
Did have the wind on my back, and new Vittoria CX tyres, that are fast as F! 8)

The wind must be blowing in the opposite direction to normal today

I had the wind in my face all the way, didn't mind a bit though as the sunshine was beautiful, first time I've got my knees out this year, going for the three tone leg tan now!

It's so nice not to have all the winter kit on anymore, to expose some skin and ride in the light both on the way for my early morning gym, ride to and from work etc. I am ready to pack the winter kit away!!! Enjoy the cycling everyone!

This mornings cycle was pure heaven, and my bike appeared to be turbocharged too

I followed the River to Windsor on Monday, what a great ride that was, and when I got there the train I got back into town had little holes in the side wall of the lobby area inside the carridge to put your wheel in and little straps to hold the bike.

    Bliss.

It has been lovely for the last two days, today I have been on site so had to use the car to take the gear.

Back on the bike tomorrow though. 8)

It was great weather today. Had my shorts on for the first time this year. It seems to have been a very long winter, long may the sunny weather continue.

I'd forgotten what my arms looked like...Quite a shock to see bare arms with gloves on the end!

    Hmm, bliss . . . .
a gentle saunter to and from college yesterday, just enjoying the shocked looks on drivers' faces as they saw my bare calf muscles! Was a hard slog into a warm headwind on the way home, but worth it to zip past all the drivers sitting in their tin boxes and roasting!
Drove today - couldn't resist the chance to get the hood down and drive properly! Left early and took the country lanes. Will wait and see what the morning brings - the bike is ready and the car has fuel - see how I feel!
The best thing is not having to worry about taking an extra top with me to wear at the other end when I cool off - just got to have along sleeved t-shirt that ties round my waist if the sun is too irresistable!

One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.
