Victoria Station: bike lock-ups any good?

Hello from a commuter who would like to take a train in to Victoria, and cycle from there to his workplace ...
Do any of you use the bike lock-up areas in London Victoria? I'm referring to the two or three areas that are between the platforms. How safe are they? Can you leave a bike there over the weekend? Are they are crowded?
Thanks!

I'd only leave a hack at Victoria. I know there is safety in numbers but a decent bike will stand out like a sore thumb. If you have to I would use the bike park at the far end of Platform 8 as there are generally more people (staff) about but no location is particularly secure. If I was a regular commuter into Victoria I would get a folder....sorted.To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity - Oscar Wilde0

Further to this, you can leave your bike locked overnight and indeed over the weekend, but occasionally Network Rail have a bit of a purge and start leaving notices on bikes stating that they "appear to have been abandoned" which leads to the bikes being confiscated. I know of one gentleman that leaves a photocopy of his season ticket Sellotaped to his bike and has not been bothered since he started doing that.To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity - Oscar Wilde0
