Cracked paint or something more sinister?

I've just come across a small crack under the downtube, just above where the frame joins the forks... (see photo).
It's a 9 month old Speedster s20 (alu frame) that's done around 2000 miles. All I've done is changed the stem. Surely normal wear and tear wouldn't merit a cracked frame at this stage?
Hope it's visible...
Any thoughts? Am I worrying about nothing?
Cheers.

Looks like the paint has cracked when the headset bearings have been pressed in; aluminium will flex the paint will not. The only way to see if the frame is cracked is to take the paint off at the site of the ‘crack’. I would imagine a frame this new would be covered under warranty.0

agree with Leigh B, so take it to the LBS for inspection. FWIW it's not at all uncommon for aluminium framed bikes to suffer cracks in such locations, though not a plethora, you understand.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
