Hi all,

Can anybody tell me how far in advance they close the roads to motor traffic?

The TdF sometimes close roads the night before a big stage......just wondering what they do at the Giro.

Hopefully catching them on the last big mountain stage when they go over the Mortirolo

:D:D:D

Cheers/Tim

They are going over the Mortirolo ? Oh fantastic - I really must get a magazine with a decent race preview in it.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

When I was there in 2003 , I think it was 3 hours before the race passed . But give yourself plenty of time to get there . I was going to watch it on the Gavia so would have had to drive most of the way there on the route . To get to the route should have taken less than an hour and it took me 3 hours , and they closed the road 5 cars in front
