P&A Kenistons

Wondered if anyone was familiar with P&A Kenistons / P&A Lightweights of Romford.
The frame of my current commuter and first fixed project was bought from eBay a few years back. Seller "thought" it was a Kenistons and it did come with a replica Kenistons head badge
Now having similar dilemma to meagain in "to spend or not..." . I really like the bike and don't think my DIY with a can of Halfords looks worthy or offers much protection. A bit more knowledge of what it is I'm riding may help me decide whether a decent respray is a sensible spend.
No idea of the tubing, Nervex lugs and Campag dropouts.
Failing to get the pics on here, any tips?
Thanks

If mine's worth a bit of pampering, then that certainly is! Very clean lines - nice bike.d.j.

That is a nice bike. look after it. If it was gone you would sure miss it and where could you replace it? It is easy to justify the expense. Every time you commute you save a fare or two. Now that can add up over the year to quite a sum. The paint protects the frame and has more than an aesthetic purpose. Maintenance is required on all vehicles and it is a lot cheaper on a bike than a motorised vehicle. Better to spend your money on your bike than on booze and fags. Bikes are a healthy past time, useful and a very efficient machine to travel on. It is more wasteful to neglect your bike in the long run you will only end up skipping it or selling it to buy a new one that won't be half as good adding to the wasteful society we live in. So be green and replenish your steed when you need to. There are probably a million other reasons as well.0

Thanks for the comments.
Paint did look ok at first but hasn't lasted. Only have to look at it and it chips and a couple of winters on there's a fair bit of superficial rust, hence wondering whether a professional job makes sense before it gets worse.
Really like the frame but value the thoughts of those more knowledgable and objective before forking out (and possibly promoting above winter hack)0
