I'm a UK size 10. The Specialized Comp shoes I use are 45. I couldn't use a smaller pair. Go for the 45's they should be fine.

I have both road shoes and mountain bike shoes from Specialized. In both cases I was recommended to go one size up from my normal shoe size.

The fact that size chart has US not UK sizes on it makes it quite clear where it's from. Though you could tell it wasn't the UK just by the existence of the half EU sizes. Unfortunately Specialized UK are rubbish at what they stock (and you can't even order something they don't bring in as standard), and one thing they don't bother with is half EU sizes - which rather makes a mockery of Specialized's claims to provide the perfect fit.

Have to admit I'd not ever come across Specialized shoes being available in different width fittings before - will have to do some research into what is available in different widths (undoubtedly it will be an import job, as I can't see Spec UK bothering).
