Ooh, that's Dekker out the back door with 25 km still to go

I can't see anybody challenging Kloeden for the GC, now. :( Eyeballs out, today. Now, Kloeden is isolated......maybe I'm wrong....
    Thank goodness for cycling.tv.

Ouch. That's a lot of PTP points just gone up in smoke.

This is one spectacular looking part of the world. The scenery's just as good as the racing.

I'm watching it on translated live ticker :( I'll have to take your word on the scenery...

Big PTP "up in smoke" as you say.

Francesco De Bonis... wow. Never even heard of the guy, but that was amazing. 90 km out in the breakaway, gets caught by Beltran on the final climb, but hangs in there - then Gadret catches them both and attacks with 300m to go, but De Bonis keeps fighting and wins the sprint. Amazing.

De Bonis was the Gerolsteiner rider who had a dig off the front the other day in the closing kilometres (stage that McEwen won I think). Was the first time I'd heard of him!

So what (apart from me causing him eternal damnation by picking him for PTP) caused Dekker to quit? No mention on the CyclingNews stage reports and nothing in the news pages I've been able to find so far.
