Hello everyone,
Just wanting some advice on which bike to buy. Im a beginner wanting to improve my fitness with an entry level hardtail. I have seen two bikes that seem pretty good to me (but I dont really know what im talking about!). If anyone owns either the:
GT Avalanche 2.0 https://sslrelay.com/s96379727.oneandon ... isc%2B2008
or the
FELT Q620

I would be grateful if you could advise me which one to go for.
Thanks
Ben

The GT looks miles better to me.
Better spec all round, including hydraulic disc brakes. If it fits you, that's the one I'd go for of the two.
The frame on the GT is also known to be a good ride. I haven't got a clue what the Felt is like. It maybe OK, but being more of an unknown quantity, I'd avoid it.0 -
Carrera Kraken is also worth a look, great frame (double butted main tubes) better fork (has rebound damping) better gears (27 instead of 24).The new '08 version has hydraulics too.

if you buy the kraken make sure you buy it from one of the better branches of halfords - search halfords on this forum and you will find endless horror stories about poor customer service / workmanship etcMy Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0

Spec wise the GT blows the Felt away in every department.0
